Two statements guide my journey through this world:
Writing is my passion, writing has saved my life. My words are a gift I leave for my child.
For eight years, from 2005 - 2013, I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It's a city I love, the place I adopted as my home even though Buenos Aires is thousands of miles from the small town of four thousand people in Tennessee where I was raised.
By day, I function as a librarian at Washington and Lee University, where I also teach courses on digital history and multimedia storytelling. In the evenings, I write by pen and paper.
I have chosen to focus my writings on Buenos Aires through fiction and non-fiction. My novels are written in the genre of mysteries, suspense, and thrillers.
